RAISED HERE, SOLD HERE
Blackland Farm & Cattle produces honey right here in Central Texas. Our hives stay here year-round. We serve our neighbors in the greater Waco area, including Riesel, Marlin, Mart, Woodway, Hewitt, and beyond
eat local
Make every bite count - locally raised food is better for the environment, better for our communities, and better for you
As sixth-generation land stewards, Blackland Farm & Cattle values the health of the land. Our practices are carbon-based and prioritize soil health.
We use cattle to improve soil health through intensive rotational grazing. The cattle move in a more natural pattern over our land. This grazing style works with how the natural prairie ecosystem evolved over thousands of years with native ruminants.
Bees and other pollinators are a vital part of the prairie ecosystem. Our pastures grow a diverse suite of plant species to support our honey bees and local pollinators.
We don’t just sell honey, we steward wild spaces. We maintain spaces throughout Texas that foster biodiversity and love of the land.
McLennan County
LOCAL HONEY, NATIVE PASTURE
We maintain multiple apiaries with supporting native pasture. Our pasture land grows flowers and grasses native to the Blackland Prairie. Creeks and water ways that cross our pastures host shrub and tree species important to the health of the prairie.

LOCAL HONEY, NATIVE PASTURE, CROPS, CATTLE
The heart and soul of our ranch and farm land - The Neumann Place has been in Todd’s family since 1909. We raise our cattle here and maintain a vibrant apiary. We also maintain native pasture and work with local farmers to lease land for row crops.
